Subject: Daily Degeneracy Report: Memory Pumps, Post-Nut Pivots, and a Parmesan CDS

My fellow exit-liquidity providers,

Market mood: memory is the only pump, Iran is the only stop, and every gain screenshot is a hidden loss waiting for a Friday. Let's get into it.

[MU/SNDK/WDC]: The memory and storage pump is the only thing keeping this sub vertical: SNDK is up 70% in 20 days, Micron just closed above $1,000, and SanDisk/Western Digital rallied after Elon Musk flagged a memory bottleneck. The sub's preferred explanation is that big boys loaded up after the media FUD cycle and flipped the story back to "AI darling" just in time to resume the pamp. Do not bring up the guy who watched $1.5M of MU calls decay into a Wendy's promotion.

[RDDT]: Forget S&P 500 inclusion—Reddit's real AI opportunity is detecting the exact millisecond a gooner hits post-nut clarity and instantly serving a Vanguard ad, because that's when a man is most open to "rebuilding his life." The Post-Nut Clarity thesis argues Reddit is sitting on wasted petabytes of unmonetized NSFW traffic, but as one top commenter noted, the $250 calls expiring Friday are probably still cooked. Meanwhile, the stock is up after S&P 500 inclusion, which is a much less weird way to print.

[META]: Legal "astronomical consequences" arrive Tuesday when California AG Bonta's case goes to trial in Oakland, with 29 states and damages estimates ranging from $200 billion to a number Meta's lawyers once floated as $1.4 trillion. The sub's response is split between "Fuck META, they're the new Marlboro" and "market is on drugs, all Lizard man has to do is say the magic AI word." That's the entire due diligence.

[NVDA/OPENAI]: Nvidia is backing up to $105 billion in financing for OpenAI's Ohio data center, and Jensen swears it's not circular financing, so everything is fine. One commenter's TLDR: OpenAI buys $250B of chips, Nvidia hands back $105B, OpenAI buys more chips. One guy offered to add $100, which is roughly the same due diligence as the rest of this trade.

[IRAN/OIL]: Geopolitical whiplash is back on the menu: one comment says Trump was right and Iran was solved in a month, while another posts a BREAKING 3-4 week ultimatum over the Strait of Hormuz that demands, among other things, $300 billion in reconstruction funds. One commenter just says "sounds like the war is back on." Meanwhile, one post asks whether flydubai flying over Iran is enough of a signal to short crude, and the comments say roughly "don't touch it."

[PARMIGIANO-REGGIANO / ITALY]: Italy's cheese-bank system is cracking under extreme heat and storage costs, so one autist's sophisticated macro play is puts on $ITALY via credit default swaps on Parmigiano-Reggiano. The best analysis on a 2,253-vote post is "That's not gouda," followed closely by "Parmageddon." Somebody also noted the wheels look like GPUs depreciating in a server rack, which is the closest thing to a real investment thesis here.

[SPY]: One brave regard "turned a paycheck into $250k," only for the top comment to reveal the paycheck was $84,000 worth of SPY puts. The trade math: sold MU Friday, got mad it would've been $400k if held, and went full SPY puts. "Do it again tomorrow" is both the advice and the prognosis.

[NKE]: One comment asks if Nike really dipped 4% just to stick it to the guy who swore it couldn't go below $40. Another declares that u/lies_are_comforting has to delete his account now that Nike closed below $40. That's it—that's the thesis.

[MAG7]: The Mag7 post is acting like it's falling apart today, though one commenter notes you'd have to be trading for the last six days to think that. "Bag7" is the new portfolio strategy, and one true regard is all-in on Microsoft with chest pain and a non-functional dick. Another says the sky is falling because his portfolio is down 0.2%—this is the retail sentiment we get paid to monetize.

[WHERES THE CRASH?]: The 1,357-vote screenshot asking "wheres the crash?" gets the reply "Ah yes, the famous one month and a half investment horizon." The bears are supposedly hibernating until it actually happens; one commenter notes SpaceX didn't tank the market, only armageddoned the space sector. Until then, funny money don't sleep.

[C]: One autist says Citi has been "consolidating since 2009," sees $549.40 on the monthly chart, and bought January 2027 $175 calls. A commenter quibbles that the volume profile is set to one month of data, while another argues the old highs only look that way because of equity dilution. C did beat earnings, but the sub is too busy ordering a Baconator to price that in.

[COMPUTE FUTURES]: CME now offers compute futures, which one thread quickly identified as a way to lose money on something that "should go down based on Moore's law." The designated adult in the room explains it's a hedging tool for people who actually use compute, not a casino for degens. Someone else is just worried about taking delivery of millions of "petaflop hours."

So the cycle continues: institutions farm retail, retail farms itself, and the only thing more circular than Nvidia financing is our ability to buy tops. We'll see you at the bottom—or at Wendy's.

Stay solvent (somehow),
