Subject: Earnings Beat, Stock Blew Up, See You Monday

My fellow exit-liquidity providers,

The market spent the week treating good earnings like a terminal diagnosis and a Treasury Secretary's notepad like a Fed press release. Since everyone here is either up 18x or down a house, the sentiment is best summarized as: we're all going to make it (to zero).

[SPCX]: SPCX's first baby earnings have the thread split between calls on the "most dog shit earnings" and veterans who learned from TSLA days that Elon dickriders can irrationally drive the stock up, with the big unlock Thursday looming and a 20% move expected in either direction. The longer SPCX ramble declares it the new measuring stick for the AI bubble.

[JPY]: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's Camp David notepad literally reads "Buy Japanese Yen $5-10 bil," and the sub has declared ¥endies are the new tendies while going so bearish on the dollar. Real-world reports say the Treasury intervened to support yen after Japan stepped in, so either the dollar is cooked or someone is angling for a very suspicious personal profit.

[US20Y]: The 20-year yield is flirting with its June 5.299% high, and Warsh is considering fewer Fed policy meetings, which the comments have translated as "No quarterly earnings call requirements. More market volatility. Easier insider trading." The 30-year has hit a 19-year peak, and somewhere a dad's bond funds are feeling it. Fewer meetings, more memes.

[NFLX]: Netflix is down over 40% from its summer 2025 highs, and the sub's top theory is that they turned into the thing they were designed to defeat. The bulls say $75 is undervalued as fuck, while the bears call it no longer a growth company with no dividend and young people watching YouTube. External headlines show a 46% drawdown and at least one person buying more, which is the WSB way of catching a falling knife with both hands.

[NVDA]: One regard spent about $1.08 million on 300 Nvidia calls that are now worth roughly $400.5K, and his official thesis is literally "can you guys start buying NVDA Monday." The options expire June 2027 and need NVDA near $306 to break even, even as outside headlines show Nvidia back on top as most valuable company and Morningstar seeing $280 value. Pray for him, but not with real money.

[SNDK/MU]: SNDK is Wednesday's designated coin flip, with one regard calling for +200% after earnings and another insisting it'll "either double or go to a 100". MU is making people go bald, because memory stocks are named for the liquidations you'll never forget. The Motley Fool asking if you should buy Micron instead of Nvidia is a great way to get liquidated with extra steps.

[RKLB]: RKLB is down 35% in a month on "zero bad news", sitting on a $2.2B backlog and a fresh $266M contract, but the best explanation on the thread is simply "SPCX happened." The whole space sector got dragged into a meme sector, leaving one regard calling it an "epoch level buying opportunity" and another asking if we're the exit liquidity. Outside headlines say Rocket Lab's biggest contract ever was barely noticed, then the stock soared premarket, because 2026 has no rules.

[OIL]: The U.S. and Israel are reportedly preparing to bombard energy-related targets in Iran, and one commenter highlighted the line about trying to conclude by the time financial markets open Monday, because nothing says healthy markets like war scheduled around the opening bell. Oil is already up after Iran says it stops ships in Hormuz, Exxon and Chevron are printing profits, and the sub's response is a tired "same news from 6 months ago." That means Sunday futures gap down, just in time for TACO Tuesday.

[RDDT/PLTR]: RDDT pulled the beat-and-drop special, crushing earnings and falling 23%, and one commenter says the exact same play lost them 40% last earnings. PLTR is already following tradition: +12% premarket, -8% by open, -20% by close. Good news is now just a suggestion.

[SPY]: One regard turned $4k into $75k flipping SPY calls/puts before "cashing out," and the sub's highest-rated response is see you on Monday. Another regard's 650, 700, and 720 puts expired worthless right before the market tanked, because SPY saw the expiration date, and someone had to note the S&P is only 1.6% off its all-time high. The circle of life is intact.

[GOOGL/MSFT/AMZN]: Mega-cap earnings remain a slot machine: one regard turned $270 of 1dte GOOGL 350c into $10k, another's MSFT 400c bought two weeks before earnings earned a sincere "Ty $MSFT", one forgot to sell before earnings with a portfolio of MSFT calls and got saved, and AMZN calls were sold into the rip. Microsoft's rally lifted stocks while the 30-year yield hit a 19-year peak, because apparently you can have one good thing without a disaster. The only lesson is timing is a myth.

[LOSS PORN]: The real market indices: a 20-year-old turned a family IRA into a designated casualty account, one regard choked away $30k on RDDT calls, and another is "at war" with LULU using the house as collateral. The comments are supportive in the way a pack of hyenas is supportive, and one guy's new nickname is the Pentagon.

At some point the market will realize that "beating expectations" just means the expectations were wrong, and that a Treasury Secretary's to-do list is not a macroeconomic indicator. Until then, keep your stop-losses close and your collateral documents closer.

Stay solvent (somehow),
